Justice Souter At the Third Circuit Judicial Conference
From a news report of the Third Circuit Judicial Conference held last week, pointing out a comment made by Circuit Justice David Souter to the room full of Third Circuit judges:
Souter cheerfully broke the news that Alito had issued his first Supreme Court opinion-and that the staunch conservative had reversed a criminal conviction in North Carolina. “A year from now will I read headlines, ‘No more Alitos?’” Souter wondered aloud.
